Heart for Service
From the beginning, students are introduced to the importance of giving back. Students learn they have a responsibility to help and serve others. They discover the joy that comes from giving of one’s time and gifts to make an impact in their community for God’s glory.
STEAM Technology
FPD Global's lower school STEAM lab (Innovation Station) enhances the science, technology, engineering, art, and math opportunities for students through collaborative workspaces, engaging activities, and a robust curriculm that includes design, coding, and purposeful building.
Connections
A predominate characteristic of FPD Global's curriculum is an emphasis on making connections with what students learn in the classroom and the world around them. FPD Global faculty connect classroom studies to co-curricular activities so students engage in multiple ways.
Higher-Level Thinking
Students move beyond memorization and into critical thinking and problem solving. Students learn the "whys" and "hows" behind their solutions, not just the answers. Learning the "whys" promotes higher-level thinking skills and the development of lifelong learning.
Outdoor Exploration
Lower School students enjoy FPD Global's educational gardens, miles of nature trails, and multiple playgrounds newly renovated in 2021. These outdoor spaces provide ample outdoor opportunities to explore God's creation as well as run and play.
Communication
FPD Global recognizes the importance of effective communication. Therefore, the development of communication is integrated in every aspect of FPD Global's curriculum. Students learn how to give presentations, write reports, and communicate their answers effectively.
